A little self-care, some wellness talk, encouraging words, and little moments of the day worth sharing with a little Tica sprinkled in there.
Good morning, my simplicity crew! Happy Monday! I know some of us have already hit the ground running, while others may need a little time to get into the swing of things,my alarm goes off at 5:25 am. Either way, Monday is here, and we have things to do!
I wish everyone a stress-free week filled with blessings and discipline, especially those of us who may not be feeling motivated but still have things to get done. We all know life doesn't stop, so the grind can't either!
Between handling business and taking care of responsibilities, make sure you're finding a little time for yourself, too. Maybe it's taking a walk if you're able, setting a timer for 10 minutes to rest your eyes, playing a game on your phone, getting some fresh air, or simply inhaling and exhaling a few deep breaths.
Those little moments can be a mental reset, even when you may not think of them that way. At some point, we have to start normalizing and prioritizing time for ourselves before everything else. Don't burn yourself out!
Let's get this week going y'all!

Allow tomorrow to come when it comes, the Bible says do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself , each day has enough trouble of it's own, Matthew 6:34. I'm proud of you just for pushing your way through this day! Sending prayers, positive energy and well wishes, until we meet here again.π«ΆπΏ
Decisions, decisions... Huh! Iβm trying to figure out whatβs going on the dinner table at my spot today. Iβm thinking about making a chicken pot pie, but then I remembered I have some leftover homemade dirty rice, we had as a side, I'm unsure of how much remains in the pot though... Listen, once I started making dirty rice from scratch, I never went back to the boxed version! π So now Iβm thinking I might add some shrimp and turn it into a one-pot meal instead.
See what happens when you have options? You start with one idea and end up debating two or three! Lol. Whatβs on the menu at your house tonight?, are yβall planning a whole meal, using up leftovers, or just playing it by ear like me because I'm undecided? They're simply dishes, so cook time is minimal. It's a win win for ya girl.π
May your day be safe, filled with protection, good surroundings, pleasant moments & peaceful thoughts. ππ

Sometimes we just need to slow down, check in with ourselves, maybe even put ourselves in check, like wait a minute, am I paying attention to what I need right now?
It's easy to get caught up in everything going on around us, but that's when you have to set healthy boundaries, and we have know when to stand firm on them.
Overextending and pouring so much into everyone else's cup without realizing that yours is running on empty, take a moment to reflect, and give yourself a little reminder that you matter as well, your needs matter, your feelings matter.
It's necessary to make sure you're at the top of your own priority list. Now let me ask you a question, who's pouring back into your cup?
Self - care doesn't have to be anything elaborate or take up your entire day, it can be a relaxing bath, taking a little time to yourself, enjoying a walk, a quiet moment, or doing something simply because it feels good to you. Sometimes, it's the little things that make the biggest difference, and now that I know better, I do better.
A few meaningful words can stay with us long after we've heard them. From quotes worth reflecting on to affirmations and encouraging words, all with a personal touch. This is wellness my way, there's a little bit of this, and a little bit of that all in one place. I welcome you to take a look around.
What are you speaking into your life? Remember the power of life and death are in the tongue, so our words matter.
β’I am worthy of the love and care I give to others
β’ I am a overcomer, and I will overcome any challenges that may come my way this week
β’I am a circumstance changer, not a victim
β’I decree and declare that the best is yet to come
β’ No weapon formed against me shall prosper
So I decided to share something from my little world, I love fall decor.π₯°π Did any of you decorate your kitchen for the season?
Everytime I go into City Trends, I walk out with something. And they low-key have some of the cutest home decor.ππΏ
If you know me, then you know that I love Dollar General, it's one of my favorite little stores I was looking for my Black Cedar candle and a fall one as well, but their selection didn't offer what I was looking for.π
Our well-being can have an impact on how we feel, mentally, physically & emotionally making time for yourself is not selfish, and it can bring a little calm & comfort to your day. Here are six of mine.π«ΆπΏ
